A Message from Liat Weiss

The Hope for Taly fund is named after my mother, Taly Weiss, who lost her battle to pancreatic cancer June 10th 2010. Hope for Taly collects charitable donations that will fund PANCREATIC CANCER Canada -  this is Canada’s only foundation dedicated to fighting pancreatic cancer. This foundation is also very close to my heart because my mother kept in touch with Betty Aldridge, who co-founded the foundation after her husband, Dick Aldridge, passed away from the silent killer. PANCREATIC CANCER Canada was founded a mere 4 years ago, and needs all the support and donations possible to grow as big as Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, its American counterpart - Liat

Of all forms of cancer, pancreatic cancer is the most lethal. There are no reliable screening tests, few specific symptoms and unless detected in its early stages, no cure. We need to continue to look for ways to detect this disease early on, learn more effective ways to treat it, and hopefully, find a cure.
